Petrus Romanus: Mariology or Mariolatry: Which One Is The Pope Espousing?

Many of you know that I’ve been patiently waiting for the new Pope to clearly state his agenda, before I re-start my second book. I can’t write a trilogy about the end times without knowing where the Pope stands on eschatology. Our new Pope is beginning to voice himself, and I believe that he moving toward his goal: Hybridized Mysticism.

When Jorge Mario Beroglio chose the name Pope Francis, frankly, I was amused. Then, when I learned that the Pope came from a Jesuit background, I knew we expected fireworks. The Jesuits have always been the enforcers in the Roman Catholic Church. If you needed an arm twisted, or a person persuaded, you called the Jesuits. That’s why Jesuit Universities and dioceses were always located near governmental power centers. I knew that Pope Francis needed to coalesce his power, and then he would preach mysticism. After lightening struck the Vatican twice, as the former pope resigned, all I needed to do was to patiently wait...
 

I believe that Pope Francis will lead the world down a strange path of Mariolatry soon.

Newly elected Pope Francis the 1st has several connections to Peter the Roman, the final pope mentioned in the St. Malachy prophecy involving the end of the world tribulation time period.

Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Buenos Aires, Argentina was elected to be the 266th Pope of the Roman Catholic Church on 13 March 2013. Although he was born in Argentina, his parents are native Italian [Roman] immigrants.

Peter the Roman connections became obvious when Cardinal Bergoglio immediately choose the papal name Francis I, to honor Saint Francis of Assisi.

Pietro is Italian for Peter. The middle name for Saint Francis of Assisi was Peter.

Further research into the name Francis I reveals more startling connections to Peter the Roman. 

Cardinal Bergoglio is the first Pope to use the name Francis I, but Wikipedia.com has documented additional world leaders who were originally named Francis I, separate from the Pope.

Francis I - Holy Roman Emperor from 1745-1765

Francis I was the Holy Roman Emperor and Grand Duke of Tuscany in Italy. He was the father of the deposed and later executed Marie Antoinette, Queen of France.

And even more mysterious is the connection to Francis I - Emperor of Austria who was also the LAST and Final Holy Roman Emperor.

He ruled as Francis II of the Holy Roman Empire from 1792 until 6 August 1806, when he dissolved the Holy Roman Empire after the disastrous defeat by Napoleon at the Battle of Austerlitz. In 1804, he had founded the Austrian Empire and became Francis I (Franz I.), the first Emperor of Austria (Kaiser von Österreich), ruling from 1804 to 1835, so later he was named the one and only Doppelkaiser (double emperor) in history. For the two years between 1804 and 1806, Francis used the title and style by the grace of God elected Roman Emperor, always August, hereditary Emperor of Austria and he was called the Emperor of Germany and Austria. He was the Apostolic King of Hungary, Croatia and Bohemia as Francis I.

Now we have multiple connections of Pope Francis I, not only to the name Peter, but also to the name Roman,  who is the 112th and final Pope mentioned in the St. Malachy Prophecy.

A 3rd Peter the Roman connection to Francis I is now evident in light of the fact the Holy Roman Empire was dissolved during the reign of a leader named Francis I.

My opinion: We will experience Mariolatry from Pope Francis. Whenever people elevate Mary to god-like status, problems ensue.

Mary’s pregnancy was announced by angels. I believe that there will be fallen angels and UFO connections to the emergence of the Antichrist. (This is a weird source, beware. According to my Roman Catholic friends, there is an overpowering spiritual presence in Fatima and Medjugorje.)

Before reciting the Angelus prayer the Pope recalled today’s feast of St. Clare of Assisi who left everything to consecrate herself to Christ in poverty, following in the footsteps of St. Francis.

He said this saint gives us a beautiful witness of today’s gospel and she helps us, together with the Blessed Virgin Mary, to live it out, each one according to their own vocation.

After the Angelus prayer, Pope Francis departed from his prepared remarks to recall that this coming Thursday is the solemnity of Mary’s Assumption into Heaven and said on that day we will honour Her. He then said he wished to send greetings to Muslims, our brothers, throughout the world who have just finished celebrating the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Referring to his earlier message released to mark this event, the Pope said he hoped that Christians and Muslims will strive to "promote mutual respect, especially through the education of the new generations."
